Global pricing for the Microsoft Cloud set to change
As from 1st April 2023, Microsoft will be increasing the price on all Microsoft services in the UK by 9%.
This will mainly impact ALL users and companies on the Cloud Office 365 platform. This price increase has aligned all products and services with licences priced in USD to help MS provide more consistency around the globe.
In an announcement made, Microsoft explained “periodic adjustments to local currency pricing are necessary to ensure that customers in different regions are paying consistent prices for similar cloud services.”
Microsoft will be assessing the pricing structure twice yearly going forward.
What does this mean if you are a current licence holder
- Those who are in a 12 month contract that was taken out pre 1st April will not see any price increase until their contract renews
- Those paying a monthly contract will see the licence cost change to the new one set below by Microsoft post 1st April 2023
All clients who are administered by Red Nova IT will have their costs amended without any action needed.
